Sound Physics Remastered Mod (Ultra Realistic Sounds for Minecraft)
A Remastered Minecraft Sound Physics Mod [1.22, 1.21.6, 1.21.5, 1.21.4, 1.21.3, 1.21.2, 1.21.1, 1.21, 1.20.6, 1.20.4, 1.20.2, 1.20, 1.19.4, 1.19.3, 1.19.2, 1.19.1, 1.19, 1.18.2, 1.18.1, 1.18, 1.17.1, 1.16.5] "Fabric and Forge compatible" sound attenuation, reverberation, and absorption through blocks.
This patch replaces Minecraft's sound engine with one that simulates reverberation, sound occlusion/absorption, and physically based sound attenuation.
With your eyes closed, you'll be able to distinguish if a mob is immediately visible and whether it's just around the corner or in a closed-off region thanks to the sound simulation. Exploring caves is far more immersive, and reverberation gives majestic buildings or enormous underground ravines a feeling of size.
Any sound files in stereo rather than mono will not work! If a sound file is stereo, it will always play at full volume with no spatial panning, regardless of where it comes from or how far away it is! If you create your own sounds, make sure they are mono! To convert stereo sound files to mono, use a free audio editor like Audacity.
In the Mod Options, set the Environment Evaluation Rays to the greatest value that does not cause stuttering while sounds play (which should not be an issue on fairly powerful CPUs). The addition of extra rays will result in a more consistent and realistic sound simulation.
Some sound artifacts may occur if your Minecraft is operating at a low frame rate (less than 30 fps) (a sound randomly having the wrong reverb settings).
