Consecration is a mod that makes all undead creatures more resistant to damage except fire and holy. To deal with this new challenge, this patch includes a few additional items that allow the player to do greater fire and holy damage during their trip.

Undying

Undead monsters will be more resistant to most types of harm. Undead mobs include zombies of all varieties, skeletons, and the Wither. This resistance manifests itself as harm mitigation and health restoration. The only method to defeat the undead is to strike them with either fire or holy damage. Fire damage will only affect undead monsters who are not already resistant to fire, which means it will not affect Nether mobs. Although the phrase "holy damage" is rather ambiguous, this patch offers a handful of methods for causing holy damage.

• The Fire Stick is a simple early-game item that does no additional damage to foes but may set them on fire for 2 seconds, which is enough to temporarily depower the undead. This gadget has a maximum of 13 uses, so use it wisely.
• The Fire Bomb is a straightforward early-game gadget that, as the name implies, is a firebomb. You can hurl this object, which will set fire to all creatures and some blocks within a given radius. Its real damage power is limited, and it will not harm the landscape.
• The Fire Arrow is a basic early-game weapon that works precisely like a regular arrow when shot, except it sets foes on fire.

Consecration Potion

The Elixir of Consecration is a divine potion prepared specifically for the purpose of slaying the undead. This potion not only has the ability to depower the undead, but it also delivers favorable advantages to anybody who drinks it in proportion to its power.

To make this potion, you must first make an Awkward Potion. Then, as a reagent, utilize Golden Apple. This will make the basic potion.

You may make a stronger variant by adding Glowstone Dust as a reagent later.

Unless you can somehow make the undead drink this potion, you'll also want to prepare the Splashing or Lingering versions of this potion. The formula is the same as for the other vanilla potions (gunpowder and dragon's breath, respectively).

Enchantments

Undead Defense

Armor enchantment that decreases undead attack damage. Except for Feather Falling, works similarly to Protection enchantments, including the inability to stack with them.
