A minor and straightforward improvement to various vanilla Overworld biomes by the geophilic mod. Originally intended to be a very simple drop-in enhancement to vanilla biomes without any new blocks, objects, or even new biomes, the major inspiration for this project comes from abandoned sketches for what was to be the Wild Update.
- The scarcity and quantity of key biome characteristics, such as grass, ferns, and flowers, are significantly altered. New features are also introduced, usually fallen trees, moss, tree stumps, plants, and, on rare occasions, new varieties of trees. Most trees, on the other hand, are practically completely vanilla, with the main difference being how tall naturally occurring trees grow, so you don't hit your head as much!
- Overall, this is not intended to be an epic terrain redesign but rather a simple and pleasant approach to update the feel of vanilla biomes to the current standard without seeming too out of place.
- This mod has no effect on Overworld landscape creation, which is significant since it means it is compatible with other modifications and data packs that do (e.g., Terralith). It is also completely server-side.
