Tips to Defeat Vexes in Minecraft

In Minecraft, vexes are flying mobs. When the pillager mob is threatened, generally by a player, an evoker spell summons them. In the game, evokers often summon a group of three vexes at a time. These vexes will hover about harassing their victim before attacking them in melee range.

However, if any current vexes are still alive and the evoker performs the summon spell again, further vexes may be created. Iron swords are used by these hordes. They will, however, attack even if they do not have a weapon.

The good news is that vexes don't have a lot of health and die after a set length of time.

Methods for killing vexes in Minecraft

Vexes have nine health (4 1/2 hearts) by default in Minecraft's Normal setting. Due to their fast mobility, vexes are very easy to defeat in melee combat, which is preferable to employing ranged strikes.

However, if Minecraft players are confident in their aim, striking a vex with an arrow or a firework rocket should not be impossible.

Vexes, on the other hand, have a time-dependent death mechanism. They will begin to suffer damage on their own after 30 to 119 seconds and will perish. Because summoned vexes are usually employed as a weapon to be directed by an evoker, this was most likely done to prevent them from crowding a certain region and causing issues.

A vex will not suffer damage over time if a player summons it using a spawn egg in Creative Mode or via instructions.

Vexes will also not despawn if they have a nametag, are modified with specific instructions, or are within a block or a minecart/boat.

Minecarts and boats are ideal places to catch and kill vexes. Because vexes are melee attackers, they must be near to their targets in order to deal damage.

Given this, Minecraft players may transport a vex in a minecart or boat and then pick it off at close range. Shields are very beneficial against vexes. Mobs that hit a shield often have to recover for a period before they can strike again, allowing players to counterattack.
